Traveling as Couple
As a self employed person I practically lived
at Red Roof as it was conveniently located off the expressway (Fairlawn, Akron,OH)because there were so many eateries within a mile radius I didn't have a need for a fridge
and microwave but with this location there was only McDonald's and what I brought from home for my trip. When traveling your trying to eat healthy a microwave would have helped. Overall, the hotel was close to the casino. There was a McDonalds a stone throw away; convenient for coffee and food. I won't mind staying there again, but I don't need anyone asking for my drivers license No. after I'm in the room. ...read more

Try to avoid staying on a weekend. The weekday price is reasonable; the weekend is too expensive for what you get.

The hotel was great; staff was tremendous, close to the casino and food. Would stay again when I get the chance.

Business Traveler
I was on a scouting trip for the Seattle Mariners. When I checked in, only room available was smoking. I never asked for smoking, asthma problem. Went hunting around went to Days Inn which was worse. I had to take the room as was going to game that night and two more days. ...read more
